Looking to try your hand in the wonderful world of cakes?

TLC Academy is bringing you a brand-new Beginner’s Baking and Decorating class! It’s perfect for bakers who are just starting out in the wonderful world of cakes!

Our tutor will provide you with step-by-step instructions as you bake your way to a yummy cakey treat. This Beginner’s Baking and Decorating class will comprise of baking your vanilla cake and making your Swiss meringue buttercream along with an American vanilla buttercream frosting which you will then apply to your cake (when they cool down enough, that is!). This truly is a yummylicious and easy-to-bake cake!

You will take home everything you make in class, and learn how to box it up safely for transporting home to share with all your family and friends.

Vanilla Sponge Cake Baking and Buttercream Basics all in one Beginner’s Baking and Decorating class!

Cake, anyone?

You will practice a range of piping techniques and add your favourite to your cake with your own design or follow the tutor’s design instructions.

The activity will last approximately 5 hours depending on the pace of the participants.

All the tools you require for this beginner’s baking and decorating class are provided.  You will need to bring an apron and you also need to bring a bag to transport a 10″ cake box in.

PRICE:

This is a one-day class and is costed per person, with a maximum of 6 participants per class.

Please Note:

  • You will need to bring your own packed lunch, unless it is a full-day class i.e., 9am to 5pm
  • Teas, coffee, and biscuits will be provided.
  • The skills learned during your visit with us are intended for you to use within your own business and under no circumstances should these classes be replicated and taught to your own students.
  • You will receive your class recipes by email after joining the newsletter mailing list.
  • Videos are strictly prohibited during this class.
  • Please be aware that once the full payment has been settled, we are unable to refund so please check your travel arrangements and ensure enough contingency time before committing to a class.
  • Please make sure you double-check your availability before booking your party as we are unable to offer a refund for the cancellation of parties or classes.
  • In the unlikely event that a class is canceled by TLC Academy, a rescheduled date will be offered or a full refund will be given.
